Millennia-old healing powers of nature
The immune system of a healthy adult can usually fight a common cold all by itself. Sneezing, coughing etc. are part of our body's natural defence mechanisms - and should therefore not be suppressed. However, traditional remedies such as our Tiger Balm White medicine and holistic treatment can help to increase personal well-being in the case of mild colds and support the body's self-healing powers.
This includes
- Relaxed walks in the fresh air to get the circulation going.
- Sufficient sleep and deliberate periods of rest to give the body time to regenerate.
- Warm drinks such as herbal teas or hot lemon to balance the body's fluid levels.
- Inhalations with essential oils such as eucalyptus or menthol to moisturise inflamed mucous membranes.
- A clear nose thanks to menthol and peppermint oil
Thousands of years ago, people in the Far East knew how to effectively utilise the healing powers of nature to alleviate cold symptoms. This traditional knowledge formed the basis for the development of TIGER BALM WHITE.
Its effect is based on the special combination of five active ingredients: Clove oil, peppermint oil, cajeput oil, levomenthol and camphor rac. In the spirit of traditional Chinese medicine, these medicinal plants complement each other perfectly to naturally alleviate cold symptoms.
Treating a cold with Tiger Balm White: Here's how!
For colds and bronchial complaints, Tiger Balm White is best used as an embrocation: the soothing ingredients are released during the course of the day and constantly inhaled through the mouth and nose. To do this, rub a pea-sized amount of the balm onto the chest and back in the morning and evening and leave to absorb.
During the day, the balm can also be applied directly to the nostrils or the area below the nose. The gentle odour and healing effect of peppermint & co. can help you breathe more easily again. Very important: Do not apply to the nostrils! A typical sign of an approaching cold can also be a so-called tension headache, which makes itself felt with a dull, pressing sensation. This is where the cooling effect of Tiger Balm White comes into its own: applied to the temples, this positive effect can be felt within a short time.
Areas of application:
- For external use to improve the condition of cold symptoms such as uncomplicated colds and bronchial complaints.
- To promote blood circulation in the skin for muscle and joint complaints such as sprains, bruises and strains.
