Directions for use

To combat sweating and odour, SweatStop® antiperspirants must be applied to clean and completely dry skin immediately before going to bed. To ensure the solution can be absorbed properly and the salts can seal the pores, care must be taken to avoid sweating after application. The treatment should be repeated every 2–3 days. In the morning, you can follow your usual washing routine and, if desired, apply a deodorant or a skin-care cream. The effect becomes noticeable after 1–3 applications; in rare cases, more applications may be required.

- Cleanse and dry the affected area of skin before going to bed
- Spray once onto the affected area
- Allow to dry completely before getting dressed to prevent staining

Note on use on the face and hairless areas of the head
It is recommended to use SweatStop® Aloe Vera Sensitive lotion first. Only apply a SweatStop® antiperspirant with a higher intensity level, such as SweatStop® Aloe Vera Forte, if necessary. SweatStop® sprays should be applied using a cotton wool pad.

Aluminium salts
Aluminium salts are used in the textile and soap industries due to their strong astringent effect, where they are employed, amongst other things, in the manufacture of antiseptics and deodorants. Furthermore, when applied topically in certain concentrations, aluminium salts can be used to combat sweating.

Dexpanthenol
Dexpanthenol, also known as pantothenol or panthenol, has long been used in topical applications. Pantothenic acid is a component of coenzyme A and therefore plays an essential role in skin metabolism. Dexpanthenol has nourishing properties. It increases the skin’s ability to retain moisture and improves its elasticity. It supports the regeneration of skin cells and thus contributes to skin renewal. Furthermore, dexpanthenol also has anti-itching and anti-inflammatory properties. Owing to its wide range of properties, dexpanthenol is used by many manufacturers primarily as an ingredient in skin creams and ointments.
