Suprasorb® X + PHMB: The antimicrobial wound dressing with PHMB for rapid and gentle wound healing. Effective against MRSA and VRE. HydroBalance technology maintains a moist wound environment and reduces pain.
Suprasorb X + PHMB is an antimicrobial wound dressing that is effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens, such as MRSA and VRE *. In vitro studies show a very rapid and almost complete release of polyhexanide (PHMB) from the wound dressing within 24 hours.
Depending on the condition of the wound, Suprasorb X + PHMB either releases moisture to the wound or absorbs excess exudate. This creates a moist wound environment, which patients find comfortable and pain-relieving.
The material from which Suprasorb X + PHMB is made allows for easy adaptation to any wound shape and depth and is therefore particularly suitable for areas of the body that are difficult to treat.
* Spectrum of pathogens demonstrated in vitro – see instructions for use

Sterile wound dressing
Directions for use

- Secure with a suitable secondary dressing, depending on the degree of exudation.
Notes
- When treating infected wounds, the wound dressing should not be used as the sole therapeutic measure; instead, it should be supplemented, at the discretion of the treating doctor, by pharmacological therapy in accordance with local clinical protocols.
Please contact a doctor or nurse if any of the following symptoms occur:
- Change in the colour and/or odour of the wound
- Stagnant wound healing
- Clinical signs of infection
Tip: If the dressing dries out, it must be thoroughly rehydrated and left in place for at least 10 minutes before removal.
