Suprasorb® P sensitive non-border is a sterile silicone foam dressing (without superabsorbent absorbent core) for the atraumatic treatment of acute and chronic wounds. Particularly suitable for sensitive skin.
Suprasorb® P sensitive non-border consists of a silicone wound contact layer, an absorbent PU foam and a backing layer. The three-layer structure enables dynamic fluid management for an optimal moist wound environment, which leads to faster wound closure and can help to reduce the risk of maceration. The soft silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adhesive properties. This layer also helps to minimise patient pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing changes. The polyurethane foam layer provides excellent absorption and traps exudate.
Areas of application
The Suprasorb® P sensitive silicone foam dressing can be used to treat all wounds, provided they are moderately exuding and superficial to deep* wounds.
- Decubitus ulcers
- Leg and foot ulcers
- Traumatic wounds
- Skin tears
Suprasorb® P sensitive tracheo non-border can be used to cover areas of skin around tracheostomy tubes and other drainage tubes.

- Backing layer: waterproof, showerproof and bacteria-repellent
- Adapts to the wound bed
- Offers patient comfort

Dosage form

Application
Can be applied by laypersons under the supervision of specialised personnel. The product can be used under compression bandages.
Prepare the wound:
- Clean the wound according to existing clinical standards. Thoroughly dry the skin surrounding the wound.
Applying the dressing:
- The size of the dressing depends on the size of the wound. The wound pad should overlap the dry skin surrounding the wound by at least 1-2 cm.
- Remove the first protective film and apply the adhesive side to the wound.
- Remove the remaining protective film(s) and smooth the dressing onto the skin. Do not pull the dressing apart. *If necessary, use a tamponade as the primary dressing for deep wounds (e.g. Suprasorb® A, Suprasorb® A + Ag, Suprasorb® Liquacel).
Changing the dressing:
- The dressing can remain on the wound for several days depending on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudation.
