The Suprasorb® P SensiFlex border silicone foam dressing with superabsorbent core offers high flexibility thanks to WaveCut technology. Ideal for medium to heavily exuding wounds and ulcers for low-pain dressing changes.
Suprasorb P SensiFlex is a multi-layer silicone foam dressing with WaveCut technology. The WaveCuts in the non-woven components increase flexibility, reduce tension on the adhesive edge*, allow movement in all directions and reduce the risk of premature detachment*.
Efficient exudate management reduces maceration and protects the skin surrounding the wound. The OptiSil silicone wound contact layer prevents wound adhesion, is gentle on the skin and enables atraumatic removal. Suprasorb P SensiFlex is an all-rounder among wound dressings with a wide range of applications *based on computer model data

Suprasorb® P SensiFlex (multisite) border consists of:
- a silicone wound contact layer,
- a flexible wound pad consisting of three layers: an absorbent polyurethane foam, a non-woven distribution layer and a superabsorbent absorbent core; the distribution layer and the absorbent core are perforated, which gives the dressing more flexibility
- the five-layer structure enables dynamic fluid management to create and maintain an optimal moist wound environment, which promotes faster wound closure and can help to reduce the risk of maceration. The soft silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adhesive properties. This layer also helps to minimise patient pain and trauma to the wound and surrounding skin during dressing changes. The absorbent padding layer provides excellent absorption and traps exudate.

Silicone foam dressing, sterile
Application
Can be applied by non-professionals under the supervision of specialised personnel. The product can be used under compression bandages.
- Preparing the wound: Clean the wound according to existing clinical standards. Thoroughly dry the skin surrounding the wound.
- Applying the dressing: a. The size of the dressing depends on the size of the wound. The wound pad should overlap the dry periwound skin by at least 1-2 cm. b. Remove the first protective film and apply the adhesive side to the wound. c. Remove the remaining protective film(s) and smooth the edge onto the skin. Do not pull the dressing apart *For deep wounds, use a tamponade as the primary dressing if necessary (e.g. Suprasorb® A, Suprasorb® A + Ag, Suprasorb® Liquacel).
- Dressing change: The dressing can remain on the wound for several days depending on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudation.
Precautions and warnings: The product is intended for single use only. Do not use if the packaging is damaged or opened. Do not use Suprasorb® P SensiFlex silicone foam dressing together with oxidising agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide. If reddening or sensitisation occurs, discontinue use and consult a doctor to determine the appropriate treatment.
