The Suprasorb® P SensiFlex border silicone foam dressing with a super-absorbent core offers a high degree of flexibility thanks to WaveCut technology. Ideal for wounds and ulcers with moderate to heavy exudate, ensuring a pain-free dressing change.
Suprasorb P SensiFlex is a multi-layered silicone foam dressing featuring WaveCut technology. The WaveCuts in the non-woven components increase flexibility, reduce tension at the adhesive edge*, allow movement in all directions and minimise the risk of premature detachment*.
Effective exudate management reduces maceration and protects the skin surrounding the wound.
The OptiSil silicone wound contact layer prevents the dressing from sticking to the wound, is gentle on the skin and allows for atraumatic removal.
Suprasorb P SensiFlex is an all-rounder among wound dressings with a wide range of applications.

Suprasorb® P SensiFlex (multisite) border consists of:
- a silicone wound-contact layer,
- a flexible, three-layer wound pad: an absorbent polyurethane foam, a distribution layer made of non-woven fabric and a super-absorbent core; the distribution layer and the absorbent core are perforated, which gives the wound dressing greater flexibility
- a water-vapour-permeable and waterproof backing layer. The five-layer construction enables dynamic fluid management to create and maintain an optimal moist wound environment, which promotes faster wound closure and may help to reduce the risk of maceration. The soft silicone layer can be lifted and repositioned without losing its adhesive properties . Furthermore, this layer helps to minimise the patient’s pain as well as trauma to the wound and the surrounding skin during dressing changes. The absorbent cushion layer ensures excellent absorption and locks in exudate.

Remove the first protective film and apply the adhesive side to the wound. c. Remove the remaining protective film(s) and smooth the edge down onto the skin. Do not pull the dressing apart. *For deep wounds, use a tamponade as a primary dressing if necessary (e.g. Suprasorb® A, Suprasorb® A + Ag, Suprasorb® Liquacel).
- Dressing change: Depending on the condition of the wound and the degree of exudate, the dressing may remain on the wound for several days.
