Suprasorb® G is a moisturising gel dressing that is used especially for dry and slightly exuding wounds. The hydrogel dressing is able to gently dissolve necrosis and coatings and absorb them into the gel.

The hydrogel gently loosens wound-deep coatings, necroses and tissue debris and holds them in place.1)2) Suprasorb G gel compress moisturises, has a pain-relieving effect3)4) and is very comfortable for the patient to wear. The high-quality gel compress scores highly with doctors and nursing staff thanks to its simple application and user-friendly handling.5)

Areas of application

  • Dry to slightly exuding wounds
  • Superficial wounds that are acute or chronic, e.g.: leg ulcers, pressure sores, 1st and 2nd degree burns, scalds
  • Wound healing phases: exudation phase, granulation phase, epithelialisation phase

Dosage form
Gel dressing, sterile

Application
  1. Remove the sterile dressing from the packaging.
  2. Remove one of the two white application aids (A).
  3. Apply the dressing to the wound and remove the other white application aid (B).
  4. Secure the Suprasorb G gel dressing with a suitable dressing (with a film dressing, e.g. Suprasorb F, an elastic fixation bandage, e.g. Mollelast, or compression bandages, e.g. Rosidal, as part of the treatment of underlying conditions).
Notes: Suprasorb G gel compress can be applied beyond the wound edge and, if necessary, cut to fit the wound surface. If the transparent film sticks to the inside of the individual packaging, it must be reapplied to the gel compress before use. Gloves must be worn or tweezers used for this purpose.
