Supradyn® immune effervescent tablets support the body's defences, especially in winter when colds occur more frequently, and with its composition of vitamin D, vitamin C and zinc provides important vital substances for the immune system. Supradyn® immune effervescent tablets for adults are specially dosed for a good supply, especially in the cold season.

Our immune system

The immune system is a complex system that protects our body against external intruders and foreign substances. A distinction is made between the innate, non-specific and the acquired, specific immune defence, and there are also three lines of defence: The first two are the physical barriers (skin and mucous membranes) and the non-specific cell response (e.g. immune cells). These are part of the innate, non-specific immune system. The third line of defence is the specific, acquired immune defence (e.g. antibodies).

Active ingredients

• Vitamin C: Vitamin C is an important vitamin that is known to have a major positive influence on immune defence. In fact, it is also involved in numerous metabolic processes that are of great importance for the immune system. It is also an important antioxidant and is needed, for example, to build up connective tissue (collagen formation). It therefore helps to keep the skin and mucous membranes intact and thus supports the first line of defence of the immune system. Vitamin C is a water-soluble vitamin and therefore cannot be stored in large quantities in the body. Regular, controlled intake is therefore particularly important.
• Vitamin D: In addition to vitamin C, vitamin D is also known for its importance for the immune system. It plays an important role in many defence reactions and has a particular influence on various immune cells. For example, it improves the mobility of certain immune cells and their phagocytic properties. As a result, it supports the function and activity of these important defence cells and thus the second line of defence of the immune system. Vitamin D can be produced by the body itself via the skin. However, it needs sufficient sunlight to do so. Especially in the winter months, these are usually not available in sufficient quantities. During this time, the intensity of the sun's rays is not sufficient for the body to produce enough vitamin D itself. 40% of the European population has a vitamin D deficiency* *Cashman et al. • Zinc: Zinc is a vital trace element and is involved in numerous metabolic processes. It contributes to protection against oxidative stress and is important for an intact immune system. Zinc is also important for cells that divide quickly. This includes immune cells. It is also involved in the production of antibodies and thus supports the third line of defence of the immune system.

How to use

Take 1 effervescent tablet daily dissolved in a glass of water (approx. 250 ml), preferably with or after a meal. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
