As it dries, StrataXRT forms a thin, flexible and protective layer that is gas-permeable and waterproof. StrataXRT is bacteriostatic and inert. StrataXRT has no measurable pH value and therefore has no effect on the skin’s delicate acid mantle. StrataXRT has been specially developed for use on open wounds and damaged skin. It can be applied immediately after the first radiotherapy session or in cases of first- and second-degree burns. It does not need to be removed before radiotherapy.

Directions for use
- Clean and dry the affected skin or superficial wound.
- Apply a very thin layer of StrataXRT® directly to the affected area and allow the gel to dry. StrataXRT® should be applied to the affected areas once or twice a day.
- To achieve optimal results, StrataXRT® should remain in constant contact with the skin (24 hours a day).
- Notes: StrataXRT does not cause a bolus effect. The patient can undergo radiotherapy without removing the StrataXRT film. StrataXRT can be stored in the fridge to provide a pleasant cooling effect when applied. StrataXRT can be reapplied to the affected area to reduce symptoms such as itching or redness. If StrataXRT is applied correctly to the affected areas, it should dry within 5–6 minutes. If the drying process takes longer, you may have applied too much. Carefully remove any excess product with a clean cloth or gauze and wait until the drying process is complete. For information on the effects or possible side effects, refer to the package leaflet, or consult your doctor or pharmacist.
