Indications

• For gentle, antiseptic whole-body washing (including hair) of mobile and immobile patients with MRSA or VRE
• Suitable for the hygienic washing of patients prior to surgical procedures
• For hygienic hand and body washing to strengthen the skin’s protective barrier through a moisturising care complex
• For the care and protection of irritated skin in patients receiving home care who suffer from incontinence

Directions for use

• Antiseptic whole-body wash for MRSA and VRE: For antimicrobial body washing, apply the solution directly to damp skin or a damp washcloth and cleanse thoroughly. After leaving the solution to act for at least 30 seconds, rinse the treated areas thoroughly with clean water. For a 5-day cycle of MRSA decontamination, approximately 200 ml of Stellisept® med is required, depending on the patient’s size and hair length. 
• Hygienic hand washing:For hygienic hand washing, wet your hands with water. Then massage a sufficient amount of Stellisept® med into the hands for at least 30 seconds (in accordance with EN 1499). Afterwards, rinse the hands thoroughly under running water and dry them with a disposable towel.
