PMD: A plant-based active ingredient
Soventol® PROTECT contains the plant-based active ingredient p-menthane-3,8-diol, or "PMD" for short. This ingredient, which is extracted from the essential oil of the lemon-eucalyptus tree, has proven to be effective in protecting against ticks. This is how PMD works: when applied, a special odour develops which ensures that humans simply no longer appear interesting to ticks. The skin compatibility has been dermatologically tested.
Water-resistant and sweat-proof
People who are particularly active in sports, such as those who enjoy jogging or hiking in the great outdoors, can expect to be bitten by insects. All the better that Soventol® PROTECT has decisive advantages over many conventional mosquito repellents: it is both water-resistant and sweat-resistant.

How to use
- Please follow the instructions on the pack for the correct use of Soventol® PROTECT.
- In general, the application is as follows: Spray Soventol® PROTECT evenly and without gaps onto the body and then rub it in.
- For use on the face, Soventol® PROTECT should first be sprayed into the palms of the hands and then spread sparingly over the face. Avoid the eyes and mouth area.
- Tip: Areas of skin that are covered by light textiles should also be sprayed - insects can also bite there. If you use a sun cream, Soventol® PROTECT should only be applied afterwards and after a short waiting period.
- You can apply Soventol® PROTECT several times a day without having to observe a "safety waiting period". In this way, the duration of protection can be additionally extended.
- Note: Soventol® PROTECT is not suitable for babies. Soventol® PROTECT can be used on infants from 1 year of age. Use biocidal products with care. Always read the label and product information before use. Contains citronellol. May cause allergic reactions.
