Souvenaid is a dietary food for special medical purposes (supplementary balanced diet) for the dietary treatment of early-stage Alzheimer's disease.

Souvenaid is a ready-to-use, normocaloric drinkable food and contains the patented Fortasyn Connect nutrient complex. It consists of specific nutrients for the formation of the phospholipid phosphatidylcholine: long-chain omega-3 fatty acids, uridine monophosphate and choline. The additional phospholipids and other cofactors increase the bioavailability of these nutrients. Souvenaid is lactose-free, gluten-free and fibre-free and therefore very well tolerated. For patients with early-stage Alzheimer's, it is recommended to drink a 125 ml bottle of Souvenaid once a day - preferably with breakfast - as a supplementary diet.
