Solvaline® N wound dressings are a sterile, non-adhesive solution for wound care. They are particularly suitable for exuding wounds, post-operative wounds, 2nd degree burns and cuts and abrasions.
Solvaline N dressings consist of a highly absorbent viscose/polyester core covered on both sides with a finely perforated polyethylene film.
Wound exudate is quickly absorbed through the perforation of the polythene film. Solvaline N is non-sticky and therefore enables a painless and atraumatic dressing change. As the film is applied to the top and bottom of the dressing, Solvaline N can be applied to both sides of the wound, thus increasing safety for both patient and user.
Areas of application
- For slightly to moderately exuding wounds
- For wounds in the post-operative area
- For initial treatment, e.g. cuts and abrasions
- For 2nd degree burns
