Organic quality
The acerola fruit originates from tropical South America and is very similar in appearance to our cherry, even though they are not botanically related. The name "acerola" comes from the Spanish word "azerole" which means pretty and useful. Hardly any other fruit contains as much vitamin C as acerola: 1700 mg per 100 g. In comparison: oranges only have approx. 45 mg per 100 g.
