SinoPlaSan BIO Artichoke Extract Drops are a food supplement obtained from the leaves of the artichoke (Cynara Scolymus L.) in organic quality.

Our artichoke extract from controlled organic cultivation is obtained from the leaves of the artichoke. This special vegetable was already prepared by the ancient Romans and Egyptians and used for a wide variety of purposes. The artichoke has been researched as a medicinal plant for many years and is particularly valued for its strong bitter substances. The leaves of the artichoke contain most of the bitter substances, including cynarin and various flavonoids, and therefore the leaves should always be harvested before flowering so that these active substances remain in the leaf and would otherwise be transferred to the flower.
