Similasan Eye Dryness Eye Drops are a homeopathic medicinal speciality for the alleviation of symptoms caused by an impairment of the tear film ("dryness") in the eye.

To alleviate complaints caused by an impairment of the tear film ("dryness") in the eye, such as:

• Sensation of dryness (feeling of sand) in the eyes;
• Reddened, watery, itchy and burning eyes or eyelid margins;
• Inflammation of the Meibomian glands
• sticky eyes on awakening.

The use of this homeopathic medicine in the above indications is based exclusively on homeopathic experience. In severe forms of these conditions, clinically proven therapy is indicated. This medicine is used in adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age. If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Directions for use

• Adults, adolescents and children from 2 years of age: In case of symptoms, one to several times a day, maximum 10 times 1 drop per eye. If the symptoms improve, reduce the frequency of use.
• Use in children: Use in children under 2 years of age is not recommended due to a lack of data.
• Route of administration: For use in the eye. Separate one drop container. Separate the flat part with the ball tip from the drop container with a twisting motion. Hold the eye drop container with index finger and thumb with the tip pointing downwards over the open eye, press together and drip drops into the eye. Use a new eye drop container for each application. Use opened eye drop containers immediately and dispose of them after use (non-perishable as they contain no preservatives).
• Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 3 days, consult your doctor.

Ingredients

• What "Similasan" dry eyes eye drops contain - The active ingredients are: 1 g (= 1 ml) contains: Atropa bella-donna D6, Euphrasia 3c D6, Hydrargyrum bichloratum D15, Argentum nitricum D6, 227.5 mg each.
• 1 single-dose container (0.4 ml) contains 91 mg Atropa bella-donna D6, 91 mg Euphrasia 3c D6, 91 mg Hydrargyrum bichloratum D15, 91 mg Argentum nitricum D6.
• The other ingredients are: citrate buffer (sodium citrate, sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid solution 0.1M to adjust the pH value), water for injections
