Sialin-Sigma solution, 100 ML

Sialin-Sigma solution is an artificial saliva substitute that is similar to natural saliva in terms of osmotic pressure, pH value, ion composition and viscosity. Sialin-Sigma solution achieves sustained moisturisation of the oral cavity in cases of dry mouth. The lasting moistening of the mucous membrane is due to the viscosity-increasing substance carmellose sodium.

Sialin-Sigma solution isused for prolonged moistening of the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat in cases of dry mouth(caused, for example, by radiotherapy in the head and neck area).

The 15 ml spray bottle can be refilled from the 100 ml storage bottle also contained in the pack.

Application

• Moisten the mucous membranes of the mouth and throat with Sialin Sigma solution several times a day with several sprays as required. The effect generally lasts for 1 to 3 hours. If possible, do not bring the opening of the spray pump into contact with the oral mucosa. The spray attachment can be cleaned with hot water. The application should be separated from food or drink intake.
