Collagen is a key structural protein found in the skin, bones, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue. It gives the skin firmness and elasticity, supports the structure of tissues and organs, and supports the regeneration of skin cells.

Collagen peptides, also known as hydrolysed collagen, are produced by the enzymatic splitting of the large collagen molecule into smaller fragments called peptides. These are easily digestible and can be efficiently absorbed by the body in the target tissues. As we age, the body's natural production and quality of collagen declines, often manifested by early signs of ageing such as fine lines, drier and less hydrated skin, reduced cartilage mass and bone density, and loss of structure. Diet and environmental factors also influence collagen production in the body.

The premium formula contains important B-complex vitamins such as biotin (vitamin B7), vitamin B6 (pyridoxine), folic acid (vitamin B9), niacin (vitamin B3), riboflavin (vitamin B2) and high-quality vitamin C.

Polyporus (Polyporus umbellatus) is a tasty mushroom that grows in dense clusters on the ground in oak and beech forests between June and October. It has characteristic light brown caps two to five centimetres wide. Rarely found in Europe, Polyporus has been known in Asia for over 2,000 years and is valued there for its beneficial properties, especially in traditional Chinese nutritional science as a yin-strengthening agent.
