The medicinal mushroom Coprinus (Coprinus comatus or crested tintling) grows in temperate climate zones such as Europe and North America. As a popular edible mushroom, it only keeps for a short time when fresh and quickly melts into black, ink-like drops, which gave it its name.

Traditionally, it is said to have significant benefits for well-being. Like all medicinal mushrooms, Coprinus is valued for its many biologically active substances, including polysaccharides, beta-glucans, triterpenes, polyphenols and bioactive proteins.

BIO Coprinus has a guaranteed high content of polysaccharides (30%) and beta-glucans (20%).

Coprinus is optimally combined with vitamin C, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system and to antioxidant cell protection. Vitamin C also makes an important contribution to normal energy metabolism and the normal function of the nervous system.

The vitamin C comes from organically grown amla berries. Amla, also known as Indian gooseberry (Phyllanthus emblica), is one of the richest natural sources of vitamin C with a high natural content of vitamin C, polyphenols, flavonoids and antioxidants. Our BIO Amla extract is standardised to 50% vitamin C and, according to current research, is particularly characterised by its sustained bioavailability and good tolerability - it is a suitable source of vitamin C for people with a sensitive stomach or histamine sensitivity.
