The larch is a very special native tree. In the past, every family appreciated the power of larch pitch (larch resin); it was part of the "medicine chest", so to speak. Larch pitch was used in particular when foreign bodies had penetrated the skin. It was supposed to draw everything bad out of the body. Larch pitch was used for everything that had to do with the skin. Thanks to its special scent and essential oils, it is also suitable for warm compresses - a blessing in the cold season.
