Description of the function:
Dr Schüßler Salt No. 32, Sodium tetraboracicum, regulates the absorption and metabolism of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus. Boron also influences the metabolism of steroid hormones, particularly the sex hormones. It enhances mental alertness. The highest concentration of boron is found in the parathyroid glands, followed by bones and tooth enamel. No. 32 is recommended for osteoporosis, arthritis, joint pain and calcification of soft tissues; it also regulates hormonal metabolism during the menopause in both women and men. Recommended for forgetfulness.
Effect:
According to Dr Schüßler, the minerals are intended for use as a regulatory therapy, ideally suited to health maintenance and the prevention of disease, or to accompany or support medical treatment, entirely in the spirit of complementary medicine. Dr Schüßler distinguishes between ‘operating substances’ (substances essential for cellular function) and ‘building materials’ required for the body’s structure.
