Sedogelat Forte is a traditional herbal medicinal product containing valerian and lemon balm, which is used to treat restlessness and nervousness-induced insomnia and sleep disorders.

SEDOGELAT® Forte film-coated tablets are a traditional herbal medicinal product and contain dry extracts of valerian root and lemon balm leaves as active ingredients

An extract of lemon balm leaves has a beneficial effect on weak, frayed nerves and has antispasmodic properties

*The use of this traditional herbal medicinal product for restlessness disorders and nervous sleep disorders is based exclusively on many years of use.

Dosage form

Film-coated tablets

Directions for use

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age

For restlessness: 1-2 film-coated tablets 3 to 4 times daily
For sleep disorders: 1-2 film-coated tablets half an hour to an hour before going to bed
Do not take more than 8 film-coated tablets a day

Children

Use in children under 12 years of age is not recommended as there is insufficient data available .

Route of administration:

Oral use
Take the film-coated tablets whole with a little water

Duration of use: If you do not feel better or even worse after 2 weeks, consult your doctor

Ingredients

1 film-coated tablet contains:72 mg dry extract of valerian root (Valerianae radix, drug-extract ratio 3-6:1; extractant: 70% ethanol V/V)72 mg dry extract of lemon balm leaves (Melissae folium, drug-extract ratio 4-6:1;extractant: 30% methanol V/V).

The other ingredients are Glucose syrup (spray-dried), microcrystalline cellulose,carboxymethyl starch - sodium (type A), highly dispersed silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc, hypromellose 50, macrogol 6000, propylene glycol, iron oxide yellow (E 172), iron oxide red (E 172),iron oxide black (E 172).
