How do the SEA-BAND® acupressure bands® work?

SEA-BAND acupressure bands are worn below both wrists. The plastic button attached to the inside exerts a gentle, carefully controlled pressure on the Nei-Kuan acupressure point, thereby preventing or alleviating various types of nausea. As this acupressure point is considered highly effective, the effect usually sets in within 2 to 5 minutes and lasts for as long as the bands are worn. The SEA-BAND acupressure wristband has been tested by doctors and hospitals in more than 25 clinical trials and has been used millions of times in over 50 countries. Directions for use 

1. Place your middle three fingers on the inside of your wrist, where the tip of your ring finger rests next to the first joint crease. The Nei-Kuan point is located beneath your index finger, between the two middle tendons. 
2. Align the button with the Nei-Kuan point, pointing downwards. Repeat the process for the other wrist. 

To ensure effectiveness, a strap must be worn on each wrist. Sea-straps can be slipped on before setting off or after departure.
