PROTECTIVE EFFECT

• Propolis is a rubbery material produced by bees through the enzymatic processing of plant substances and contains flavonoids, resins and essential oils. Due to its cleansing and antimicrobial effects, it has been used as a remedy and to support the functionality of the upper respiratory tract since long before modern times.
• Echinacea is a plant from the composite family. It contains many active ingredients, which are recognised for their antiviral, antibacterial and immunostimulant properties. Thanks to its properties, it protects the upper respiratory tract from infections.

Aloe Thanks to its many active ingredients, aloe vera has an antiseptic and germicidal effect. It stimulates the immune system, promotes scarring, inhibits inflammation and thus relieves discomfort in the nose and throat.

BENEFICIAL EFFECT

• Chicoryis also known as the "singer's herb" because it was used in ancient times by singers and orators to strengthen the vocal chords. Thanks to the sulphur-containing substances it contains, it has eutrophic properties for the well-being of the mucous membranes of the entire respiratory tract, especially the upper respiratory tract. • PerillaPerilla is a plant species from China, where it is used in traditional medicine. The extract of its seeds is rich in polyphenols, essential oils and many polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially α-linolenic acid (ALA). It has an antioxidant effect, reduces allergic inflammation, inhibits the formation of IgE antibodies and the pro-inflammatory molecule TNF-α.

• Liquorice rootLiquorice is a genus of plants belonging to the butterfly weed family, of which the roots are used. Its most important active ingredient is glycyrrhizin, a triterpenoid saponin glycoside, which contains other active ingredients such as saponins, flavonoids, coumarins and phytosterols. These substances have an antitussive and anti-inflammatory effect.
• Essential oil from green aniseed and peppermintThe essential oil of green aniseed and peppermint, which consists mainly of menthol and menthone, loosens mucus and has an antitussive effect.
