- Locust bean gum, tara gum, polysaccharides from tamarind seeds & scleroglucan: Protective, moisturising active ingredients that adhere to the mucous membrane and ensure physical separation of the mucous membrane from its surroundings.
- POLYVINYLPYRROLIDONE (PVP): Forms a long-lasting protective film. Blend of natural polymers for rapid action, the individual polymers have been selected for their excellent chemical and physical properties with a view to achieving a particularly adhesive, film-forming and moisturising effect. All polymers used are of natural origin and are biosynthesised from renewable sources. They are characterised by their biocompatibility, biodegradability, bioadhesiveness and lack of toxicity.
- CHLORHEXIDINE CLOREX-A2G*: Has an antimicrobial effect, chlorhexidine is important because although aphthae do not normally have a bacterial origin, they can become infected, which would make wound healing more difficult.

Dosage form
How to use
- First dab the area around the sore dry with a piece of gauze. Apply one or two drops of the gel to the injury and cover it completely. Avoid direct contact with the applicator. If the injury is difficult to reach, the gel can be applied with a clean finger or a piece of gauze. After application, avoid touching the treated area with your tongue for at least two minutes so that the protective film can form and remain on the injury as well as possible. Do not rinse your mouth for at least half an hour.
- Repeat the application 3-4 times a day or more as required. Avoid eating and drinking for at least one hour to maximise the effectiveness of the gel.
