Active Ingredients

• COENZYME Q10 (COQ10): Coenzyme Q10 is a molecule found in particularly high concentrations in tissues and organs with high energy requirements, such as the heart, kidneys, liver and muscles, where it plays an important role in cellular respiration and also acts as a protective agent against the free radicals produced by this process. CoQ10 levels decline naturally with age and can be affected by the use of certain medicines – such as statins, which block the enzyme HMG-CoA reductase, which is involved in both cholesterol synthesis and CoQ10 synthesis. 
• VITAMIN E: Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant that protects the fats in cell membranes, which are most severely affected by oxidative stress, such as the cell membranes of the heart and muscles, which are characterised by high energy production. In fact, vitamin E prevents the spread of free radicals and thus protects the polyunsaturated fatty acids in the membrane’s phospholipids and the plasma lipoproteins from oxidation. Furthermore, taking it improves the bioavailability of coenzyme Q10, with which it acts synergistically within the cell membranes. 
• EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL: Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids (MUFAs), particularly oleic acid (Ω-9), palmitic acid and linoleic acid, as well as vitamin E, and contains many other substances beneficial to the body. Its beneficial properties are now widely recognised. The MUFAs do indeed help maintain normal blood pressure and blood circulation. They also act as an effective carrier to ensure sufficient bioavailability of vitamin E and coenzyme Q10. 

Target group

• Patients taking statins who complain of muscle pain and fatigue. Patients taking beta-blockers, particularly propranolol. 1 capsule per day, taken shortly before or during a meal. Every 2–3 months whilst taking the medication, with 10-day breaks.
• Patients with cardiovascular risk factors. Patients with mild hypertension. Anyone concerned with aspects of ‘healthy ageing’. Athletes. 1 capsule per day, taken shortly before or during a meal. 2- to 3-month courses of treatment with a 10-day break.
• Anyone who frequently suffers from periodontal problems. 1 capsule per day, taken shortly before or during a meal. 1- to 3-month courses of treatment, depending on the severity of the symptoms.

Directions for use

• Adults: Take 1 capsule daily with a little liquid.
• Notes: Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. This product must not be consumed by pregnant or breastfeeding women, or by children and young people under the age of 18. Keep out of reach of small children. Food supplements are not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Due to the natural origin of the ingredients, colour variations between different batches are possible.
