- Vitamin D contributes to: the normal function of the immune system, the maintenance of normal bones and teeth, normal muscle function and a normal calcium level in the blood. Vitamin D also protects the cells of the human body from harmful stress.
- The causes of a vitamin D deficiency: too little sunlight and spending time outdoors, also due to sun protection with a high sun protection factor, especially in winter for the inhabitants of northern and central Europe. In addition, vitamin D deficiency can occur with increased age, obesity/overweight, pregnancy and in women during menopause.
- According to scientific literature, vitamin D deficiency can lead to bone growth disorders in children (rickets) and osteomalacia (painful softening of the bones) in adults, as well as osteoporosis, particularly in old age. Directions for use
- For children between 4 and 10 years 1-2 chewable capsules daily.
- For adolescents and adults 2-4 chewable capsules daily.
