The Revamil® wound dressing contains dressings with 100% pure medicinal honey. The flexible polyacetate dressing does not stick to the wound and guarantees the slow release of honey in the wound bed. The dressing is particularly suitable for treating all types of chronic wounds.

Revamil Wound Dressing is a wound dressing impregnated with pure honey produced under controlled conditions. The controlled production process guarantees that Revamil Wound Dressing contains no pesticide residues and has a reproducible quality. The honey used for Revamil Wound Dressing has a high content of honey enzymes, including glucose oxidase. Due to the high sugar concentration, part of the wound fluid mixes with Revamil and forms a reinforcing, antibacterial protective layer of the wound dressing.

Dosage form

Wound dressing, impregnated with honey

Application

If necessary, clean the wound as usual.
Then open the packaging at the top by pulling open the seal and then remove the protective film covering the dressing.
Remove the dressing from the packaging and spread it over the wound.
Fix the dressing in the usual way, e.g. with self-adhesive breathing tape.
The dressing may also be covered with a secondary dressing, which is then fixed in the usual way.
After one to a maximum of 3 days, carefully remove the dressing and replace it with a new Revamil Wound Dressing.
