Product information "Revamil® wound dressing 5 x 5 cm"
The Revamil® wound dressing contains dressings with 100 per cent pure medical-grade honey. The flexible polyacetate dressing does not stick to the wound and ensures the slow release of honey into the wound bed. The wound dressing is particularly well suited to the treatment of all types of chronic wounds.
Revamil Wound Dressing is a wound dressing impregnated with pure honey
produced under controlled conditions. The
controlled production process ensures that Revamil Wound
Dressing contains no residues of plant protection
agents or pesticides and is of consistent
quality.
The honey used in Revamil Wound Dressing has a high
content of honey enzymes, including glucose oxidase. Due to the high
sugar concentration, some of the wound exudate mixes with
Revamil, thereby forming a reinforcing, antibacterial protective layer
on the wound dressing.
