Revamil Hydrophilic Wound Gel: Revamil Hydrophilic Wound Gel consists of 100 per cent pure medical-grade honey with a high enzyme content and a low pH value.
Due to the sustained release of small amounts of hydrogen peroxide, the gel is particularly well suited to chronic and infected wounds. One tube of Revamil® hydrophilic wound gel contains 18 grams of gamma-sterilised honey. A single tube is sufficient for several treatments.
Revamil is a wound gel produced from pure honey obtained under controlled conditions. This controlled manufacturing process for Revamil guarantees consistent quality and the complete absence of pesticide residues. The honey used in Revamil has a high content of honey enzymes, including glucose oxidase. Due to the high sugar concentration, some of the wound exudate mixes with Revamil, thereby forming a reinforcing, antibacterial protective layer on the wound dressing.

Dosage form
Directions for use
- Before applying Revamil Wound Gel, the wound must be thoroughly cleaned.
- Apply a thin layer of Revamil Wound Gel to the secondary wound dressing intended to cover the wound.
- Revamil Wound Gel can also be applied directly to the wound; the wound should then be covered with a semi-occlusive wound dressing.
- Secure the secondary wound dressing as usual.
- Depending on the type of wound, the treatment may be repeated daily or every other day
