Renavit® capsules are a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in dialysis patients.
Around 10% of the Austrian population, which corresponds to approximately 800,000 people, develop kidney dysfunction in the course of their lives. In such cases, an adapted diet is essential, as this can reduce or halt the progression of this kidney disorder. A diet low in potassium is often recommended. However, this can impair the absorption of water-soluble B vitamins. Renavit® is a food for special medical purposes (balanced diet) for diet management in dialysis patients with a nutritional and/or dialysis-related deficiency of water-soluble vitamins and/or an elevated homocysteine level. It contains all recommended water-soluble B vitamins, lowers homocysteine levels and optimises EPO consumption. Renavit® does not contain any fat-soluble vitamins. This eliminates the risk of toxic accumulation.

- Adults: Take 1 x 1 capsule daily with liquid.
- Advice: Use only under medical supervision. Not suitable as the sole source of nutrition.
Ingredients
- Ingredients: Ascorbic acid; gelatine*; bulking agent: mannitol**; nicotinamide, pyridoxine HCl, calcium pantothenate, thiamine HCl; anti-caking agent: magnesium salts of fatty acids; riboflavin-5-sodium phosphate, folic acid, biotin, cyanocobalamin *capsule shell **may have a laxative effect if consumed in excess!
