Remend® Lubrigel Nourishing Tear Film are eye drops for small pets, cats, dogs and horses. Suitable for use in cases of dryness of the eye surface.

What is Remend® Lubrigel?

Remend® Lubrigel is a nourishing tear substitute that can be used to treat dryness of the ocular surface in dogs, cats and horses. Thanks to the Hyasent-S (cross-linked hyaluronic acid) it contains, Remend® Lubrigel favours the gliding ability of the eyelid over the cornea by forming a nourishing, long-lasting lubricating film on the surface of the eye. This supports the moisturisation of the eye and thus reduces the risk of further eye irritation due to dehydration.

What is Remend® Lubrigel used for?

Dogs, cats and horses can suffer from temporary or permanent dryness of the eye surface due to a variety of causes, which can manifest itself, for example, in photophobia or eye irritation. Remend® Lubrigel can be used to moisturise the cornea. By forming a nourishing lubricating film, Remend® Lubrigel can alleviate corneal hypersensitivity in dogs, cats and horses.

How does Remend® Lubrigel work?

Remend® Lubrigel has a film-forming and moisturising effect thanks to the Hyasent-S it contains.

How to use

• Raise the animal's head so that the eyes are looking upwards. Apply 1 - 2 drops twice a day directly into the animal's eye. The natural movement of the eyelid distributes the gel over the entire surface of the eye. Remend® Lubrigel can also be used more frequently if necessary.
• Advice: If other eye preparations are used at the same time, an interval of at least ten minutes should be maintained between the two applications.

Composition: water, 0.4 % Hyasent-S (cross-linked hyaluronic acid), 0.8 % sodium chloride, 0.14 % disodium phosphate, 0.02 % potassium chloride, 0.03 % potassium phosphate.
