Soothes and protects against painful skin changes caused by cancer treatments and immunotherapies
The use of EGFR and VEGFR inhibitors for the treatment of various forms of cancer can lead to skin side effects, which are particularly noticeable in the form of acne, rashes, redness on the palms of the hands and soles of the feet, and changes to the nails and hair on the head and body.
Although these reactions – some of which are painful – are temporary, targeted cancer treatments may take longer. The skin reactions can impair quality of life or lead to the cancer treatment being discontinued. In some cases, the doctor may even reduce the dose, which lowers the chances of successful cancer treatment. To prevent this, prophylactic use of Reconval K1 is recommended to alleviate skin side effects.
Reconval K1 in cancer treatment
- Prophylactic use of Reconval K1 protects against severe skin changes during anti-EGFR therapies.
- Supports doctors and patients in achieving the best possible outcome from innovative cancer treatment with anti-EGFR drugs
- Prevention of severe, dose-limiting skin changes
- Improved quality of life during chemotherapy
- Anti-EGFR therapies are very commonly used to treat the following cancers: colorectal cancer, lung cancer (NSLC), breast cancer, and head and neck cancer
Reconval K1 for multiple sclerosis
- The treatment of multiple sclerosis with injectable medicines such as beta-interferon is often limited by local side effects at the injection site
- Typical side effects include pain, a burning sensation, redness and necrosis of the skin
- These unpleasant side effects often lead to a reduction in the frequency of injections and, consequently, to reduced efficacy of the treatment
- Substances that can prevent or reduce these side effects improve the outcome of treatment
- Reconval K1 protects against the occurrence of these side effects and therefore enables the administration of the optimal dosage for the patient

With appropriate care, the skin is revitalised and its natural defences are strengthened. The cream has a soothing effect on inflamed skin.
Method of use and dosage:
The cream is used for:
- Inflamed skin (following pharmacological treatment)
- Acne-prone skin For external use on unbroken skin.
Apply the cream to the desired area of skin and massage it in gently and evenly. It can be applied daily, or several times a day if necessary. Depending on the condition of the skin, treatment may last from several weeks to several months.
Note: Keep out of the reach of children. Do not use the cream after the expiry date. Do not use the cream if the tube is damaged. Consult your doctor before use. Inform your doctor if no visible improvement is seen after two weeks of treatment.
