Saffron is extracted from the stigmas of Crocus sativus L. and is known for its intense golden-yellow colour and unique aroma. The quality of saffron is largely determined by its content of the carotenoids crocin (responsible for the colour) and safranal (responsible for the aroma).

Directions for use

• Take 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule in the evening, with or without meals, with plenty of water.
• Notes: Not suitable for children and adolescents, or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Do not use if you have a blood clotting disorder. Not suitable for people taking blood-thinning medication (anticoagulants or antiplatelet agents). Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are also taking medication for depression.
