PsoriBene® Gel for the effective removal of dandruff from diseased skin, e.g: Psoriasis.

PSORIBENE Gel is used to remove dandruff from diseased skin, e.g. psoriasis. It is a dandruff-dissolving oleogel (oil gel) for the topical treatment of increased skin flakes and plaques in psoriasis on the scalp and body.

The oleogel first dissolves the dandruff. Adding water creates a milky, cloudy, water-soluble emulsion in which the scales dissolved in oil combine with water. The resulting emulsion can simply be rinsed off with lukewarm water.

Particularly suitable:

• For removing dandruff from diseased skin, e.g. psoriasis
• For keratolysis in plaque psoriasis

Properties

• The oils contained gently and effectively dissolve the sebaceous scales according to the "like dissolves in like" principle
• Simple and safe application: 30-60 minutes application time, then easy removal with water
• Itching is demonstrably reduced; very well tolerated
• Ideal preparation of the skin for subsequent topical therapy

Application

• 1 x daily for 3-7 days; apply to dry (scalp) skin;
• Application time: ½ to 1 hour.
• Contraindications: Hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.
• Warning notices: Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply to open wounds.
• Side effects: Hypersensitivity reactions such as redness or itching.
