The presence of a serious underlying disease as the cause of the symptoms must first be ruled outby a doctor.

This medicine is used in adult men aged 18 years and over.

Prostagutt duo: Problems urinating?

Pain or burning when urinating, frequent or weakened urge to urinate, dribbling of urine at night?

All these urination problems (medically known as "micturition problems") are just some of the symptoms that men often struggle with. These symptoms are particularly common in men over 50: One in three men in this age category suffers from the aforementioned symptoms. The cause of this is usually a benign enlargement of the prostate, medically known as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH).

Prostagutt duo helps against the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia with the dual plant power of nettle roots and saw palmetto fruits.

How can Prostagutt duo help against urination problems in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia?

Enlargement of the prostate can cause men to have difficulty urinating. This includes frequent urge to urinate, weakening of the urine stream or night-time dribbling of urine.

Prostagutt duo is used for the supportive treatment of mild urination problems (such as frequent urge to urinate during the day or at night, weakening of the urinary stream or dribbling of urine) in men with benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Prostagutt duo capsules contain extracts of nettle root and saw palmetto fruit, which complement each other in their effect. The unique combination of active ingredients offers good efficacy and tolerability for urinary complaints.

Nettle roots: have a positive effect on urine volume and counteract urinary retention.
Saw palmetto fruits: restrict the transfer of fluid from the blood into the tissue and thus slow down the increase in the size of the prostate. The relaxing effect of saw palmetto also alleviates problems with urination.

Prostagutt duo capsules with the double plant power are the ideal initial therapy for men with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and urination problems such as frequent urge to urinate. The capsules are also well tolerated and intended for long-term use.

Directions for use

2 times daily 1 capsule.

Method of use

Oral use. The capsules are taken unchewed with a full glass of water in the morning and evening with or after meals to prevent premature dissolution of the capsule.

Duration of use

An improvement can be expected after four weeks. If you do not feel better or even worse after 4 weeks , consult your doctor.

Ingredients

1 capsule contains: The active ingredients are: 160 mg extract from saw palmetto fruits (Sabalis serrulatae fructus), drug-extract ratio 10 - 14.3:1, extractant: Ethanol 90 % (m/m) and 120 mg dry extract of nettle root (Urticae radix), drug-extract ratio 7.6 -12.5:1, extracting agent: ethanol 60 % (m/m)

The other ingredients are: gelatine polysucchinate; glycerol; hard fat; highly dispersed silicon dioxide; hydrogenated soya oil; patent blue V (E 131); iron oxide yellow (E 172); iron oxide black (E 172).
