The Pro-ophta® eye bandage S is an elastic watch glass bandage with a transparent, curved round disc. The Pro-ophta eye bandage S is preferably used after ptosis surgery as well as for lagophthalmos and facial nerve palsy.
The disc is transparent and dimensionally stable. This allows it to support the non-operated eye after the anaesthetic has worn off, for example. The S eye bandage is also used to treat sicca syndrome. The Pro-ophta eye bandage S is available in two disc sizes to suit different facial shapes.
