Mountain pine, also known as dwarf pine, is an evergreen shrub-like coniferous tree that grows between 1000 and 2700 metres above sea level. Mountain pines grow up to 3 metres high and have a crooked growth habit. They are used in naturopathy to treat colds, in embrocations for muscle and joint complaints and to improve the air in rooms.
