Primavera Cinnamon Bark Ceylon organic 30% essential oil is a true all-rounder in aromatherapy. Its warm, spicy fragrance has a relaxing and stimulating effect at the same time. Ideal for massages, baths or to revitalise rooms.

The essential oil cinnamon bark Ceylon organic 30% (bot. Cinnamomum zeylanicum) has a sweet-tart, spicy fragrance and is a heart note. The fragrance theme is warming, stimulating and inspiring.

The "Ceylon" cinnamon bark comes from the cinnamon tree, a tropical evergreen tree native to Sri Lanka, southern India and Madagascar. The cinnamon tree can grow up to 15 metres high and is usually pruned in cultivation to keep it low and shrubby and to encourage the growth of further shoots. The harvested pieces of bark are wrapped in mats and fermented to develop an intense flavour. Cinnamon is used as a spice, for food flavouring and as an essential oil.

The shavings from the production of cinnamon bark rolls and the spice production of genuine Ceylon cinnamon are processed into essential oil by steam distillation.
