PoxClin should be applied at least three times a day, and more frequently in the event of acute symptoms. Repeated application can enhance its effectiveness. The mousse can be easily applied over large areas without the need to rub it into sensitive areas. This is a major advantage over thicker creams or ointments, which are more likely to cause the blisters to burst. PoxClin is quickly absorbed, moisturises the skin and is paraben-free.

• For treating large areas of skin affected by herpes zoster: Gently rub the foam into the skin. As the light foam evaporates , it provides an immediate, pleasant cooling sensation on the skin.
• To prevent scarring: It is recommended to apply the foam whenever relief is desired.
