POSIFORLID® Eye Spray is a cosmetic product for daily eyelid margin hygiene and supportive care for eyelid margin inflammation and irritated eyelids.
What is Posiforlid® Eye Spray and what is it used for?
POSIFORLID® Eye Spray is suitable for the care of irritated eyelids, for daily eyelid margin hygiene and for supportive care in cases of eyelid margin inflammation. If deposits have formed on the eyelids and/or between the eyelashes, as is often the case with eyelid margin inflammation, for example, POSIFORLID® Eye Spray helps to remove them gently and carefully.
The blocked glands of the eyelid margins lead to the typical symptoms of eyelid margin inflammation such as reddened eyes, swollen eyelids and sticky eyelashes. As part of twice-daily eyelid margin hygiene, the removal of secretion residues at the gland outlets alleviates the symptoms. POSIFORLID® eye spray supports you in this. It facilitates the gentle removal of deposits on the eyelids and between the eyelashes. At the same time, it cares for and soothes irritated eyelids.

How to use
Before the first application, approx. 3 - 4 pump strokes are required until a spray mist can be removed. The bottle is then ready for use for all further applications.
There are various application options, depending on whether you want to care for the eyelids or remove incrustations:
If you want to care for red and irritated eyelids, apply POSIFORLID® Eye Spray as follows:
- Hold the bottle in front of the eye at a distance of approx. 10 cm.
- Close your eyes.
- Apply 1-2 sprays of POSIFORLID® Eye Spray to each closed eyelid.
- Important: Please do not spray on the open eye. And do not touch the surface of the eye with the spray head.
If you want to remove deposits on the eyelids or between the eyelashes or use the product for eyelid margin hygiene, there are two ways to apply the product:
1. Application with cotton buds and spraying onto the eye
- Moisten a cotton bud with POSIFORLID® eye spray.
- Spray POSIFORLID® eye spray onto the closed eye as described above.
- Now massage the edge of the eyelid with the moistened cotton bud, first on the upper eyelid from top to bottom and then on the lower eyelid from bottom to top, in each case across the entire width of the eyelid.
- Then rub carefully from the outer to the inner corner of the eyelid, using the cotton buds only once.
- Finally, clean the edges of the eyelid with a damp cotton pad.
- To clean the edge of the eyelid, always rub the cotton pad on the eyelid from the outside to the inside.
2. Application with cotton pad
- Spray several puffs of POSIFORLID® eye spray onto a cotton pad until it is sufficiently moistened.
- To clean the edge of the eyelid, always stroke the cotton pad on the eyelid from the outside to the inside.
Notes: When using eye cosmetics, POSIFORLID® Eye Spray should be used before applying make-up and/or after removing make-up. In general, it is recommended to perform regular eyelid margin hygiene in the morning and evening. POSIFORLID® Eye Spray can be used up to 4 times a day. In case of severe discomfort, please consult an ophthalmologist. The duration of use of POSIFORLID® Eye Spray is not limited. Do not use POSIFORLID® Eye Spray if the bottle or packaging is damaged.
