The Porelast® longitudinally elastic plaster bandage provides optimum support and stabilisation for injuries and conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. The breathable and skin-friendly bandage promotes natural freedom of movement.

Promoting natural movement

One of the advantages of Porelast adhesive bandages is that they do not significantly restrict the natural range of motion of the affected joints. The longitudinally elastic adhesive bandages are available with a choice of two types of adhesive. They are suitable as long-term compression dressings in phlebology and for functional dressings in sports medicine. Furthermore, they provide support and relieve pressure in cases of contusions, sprains and dislocations. The adhesive bandages are also useful for corrective dressings, such as those used for foot deformities. The porous, adhesive-coated fabric is permeable to air and water vapour and therefore offers good ventilation — even when applied in overlapping layers.
