The Porelast® longitudinally elastic plaster bandage offers optimum support and stabilisation for injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system. The breathable and skin-friendly bandage promotes natural freedom of movement.

Promoting natural movement

One of the advantages of Porelast plaster bandages is that they do not significantly restrict the natural movement of the affected joints. The longitudinally elasticated plaster bandages are available with a choice of two types of adhesive. They are suitable as permanent compression bandages in phlebology and for functional bandages in sports medicine. They also provide support and relief for contusions, sprains and dislocations. The plaster bandages are also useful for redressing bandages such as those for foot malpositions. The porous adhesive-coated fabric is permeable to air and water vapour and therefore offers good ventilation - even when the bandage is applied over several areas.
