PlantaVis Vitamin D3 & K2 Capsules are a dietary supplement with vitamin D, which contributes to the normal function of the immune system and bone function.

Sunlight is essential for vitamin D synthesis in the body. Yet we work in offices or factories, sleep in homes and even spend much of our leisure time indoors. As northern and western Europeans, we spend up to 90 per cent of our time indoors without sufficient daylight. This can make it difficult to produce sufficient vitamin D.

Although we can absorb vitamin D from our food, it is only theoretically possible to cover our entire requirement through our diet: for example, we would have to consume 1.3 kg of mushrooms or 230 g of sardines every day.

It is therefore a good thing that our body can produce vitamin D itself. But only if we get enough sunlight. However, if we spend too little time outdoors and lack the necessary sunlight, this can lead to a vitamin D deficiency.
