PlantaVet® AuriClean® Ear Cleaner is an aqueous solution for gentle and thorough ear cleaning in dogs, cats and small pets. For long-term use, convalescence and recurrence prevention.

Application

• Insert into the ear once a day until improvement, then once a week for prophylaxis every 2 - 3 weeks.
• For cleaning, carefully insert the soft tip into the ear once a day and fill the ear with AuriClean® by pressing on the bottle. Then massage the flexible part of the ear canal so that the liquid in the ear is moved and loosened dirt particles are flushed up into the pinna. The intensity of the massage depends on the painfulness of the ear condition. The fluid and the dirt dissolved in it are sucked out of the pinna with cotton wool.
• The intensive dissolution of cerumen and dirt with good skin compatibility removes microorganisms and ear mites from the ear canal.
• In cats, the ears should be wiped with a suitable cotton swab soaked in AuriClean®.
• AuriClean® should be applied daily at first and repeated every week until improvement. Regular application at intervals of 2 to 3 weeks is recommended to counteract the accumulation and solidification of cerumen at an early stage.
• Subsequent application of AuriSan® is recommended for moisturising and long-term care.
• Instructions for proper use: Herbal biostimulants stimulate the metabolic function of the skin in the ear and thus its regeneration. They can therefore be used in addition to therapeutic measures in cases of impaired skin function in the ear and during convalescence.
