Yarrow is one of the oldest medicinal plants in European medicine and is still administered in some regions today to treat the sudden cessation of breast milk production. In folk medicine, it is highly valued for its haemostatic properties. The active constituents of yarrow have astringent, wound-healing and antispasmodic properties and are therefore used as a wound remedy, as a medicinal herb to aid digestion, and to treat functional lower abdominal discomfort in women.

Usage
Adults: 15 drops three times daily, taken undiluted or in a sip of water; in acute cases, 30 drops, up to a maximum of 20 drops four times daily. For children, the dose should be reduced accordingly based on age (one drop per year of age). The maximum daily dose of 80 drops should not be exceeded.
