Shampoo for sensitive men's scalps

Men often suffer from a sensitive scalp. In many cases, this is caused by washing the hair too often with (overly) aggressive cleansing substances.

A sensitive and irritated scalp often causes very unpleasant itching. If those affected then start scratching, small injuries can occur in the already irritated scalp, which can then become inflamed. This starts a vicious circle.

This is when the scalp and hair need particularly gentle care. PHYSIOGEL® Scalp Care extra mild shampoo MEN contains mild surfactants that gently cleanse the hair. It can also be used several times a day without irritating the scalp.

In addition, PHYSIOGEL Scalp Care extra mild shampoo MEN does not contain any potential allergens such as fragrances, colourants or classic preservatives. As it can be used several times a day, it is also ideal for athletes who want to wash their hair more often without irritating the scalp.

Active ingredients

• Glycerine is a sugar alcohol and occurs as a natural moisturising factor (NMF) in the body and skin. As an NMF, glycerine is therefore an important part of our skin barrier. When added to cosmetics, it binds moisture from the environment and thus moisturises the skin. It also ensures that the skin's own moisture evaporates less and promotes skin elasticity. It is sometimes claimed that glycerine has a negative and drying effect, but only in very high concentrations and if no lipids or other NMFs are added - this is of course not the case with us
  
• Glycols such as propylene and pentylene glycol can improve the skin's moisture content, are suitable as solvents in products for sensitive skin, can extend the shelf life and ensure that other ingredients penetrate deeper into the skin and work better there
  
• Tocopherol is a derivative of vitamin E. It has an antioxidant effect and thus protects against free radicals, which otherwise destroy skin fat cells, cell membranes and proteins and thus weaken the skin and hair. It also provides long-lasting moisture by strengthening the natural function of the skin barrier. It also promotes wound healing thanks to its cell-renewing and anti-inflammatory effect.
