Understand the causes of dandruff:

The anti-dandruff complex with salicylic acid and piroctone olamine:

Additional active ingredients for a soothed scalp and well-groomed hair:

• Polidocanol - relieves itching
• Glycerin & betaine - moisturise
• Squalane - nourishes and ensures shiny hair

Active ingredients

• Salicylic acid is a fat-soluble beta-hydroxy acid (BHA), which has an impressive keratolytic (keratinising) effect in skin care. It dissolves the bonds between horny cells, gently loosening dandruff. At the same time, it has a sebum-regulating effect and thus helps to reduce excess sebum. On the scalp, salicylic acid ensures that dandruff is gently and effectively loosened and can then be rinsed out during washing
• Piroctone Olamine is a proven anti-dandruff ingredient that was developed back in the 1970s. It inhibits the growth of Malassezia yeasts, which occur naturally on the scalp but can lead to dandruff or increase dandruff formation if they multiply excessively. It also has an antibacterial and sebum-regulating effect. Piroctone Olamine therefore combats the cause of dandruff, existing dandruff is reduced and at the same time prevents the formation of new dandruff
• Polidocanol is used as a local anaesthetic. It soothes irritated nerve endings in the skin and thus provides noticeable relief from the often unpleasant itching. In addition to its soothing effect, polidocanol also has moisturising properties. Polidocanol is well researched, very well tolerated by the skin and has been used successfully in skin care for many years

How to use

• Apply to damp hair, massage in and rinse thoroughly. Repeat the application at least every other day for 4 weeks and then once a week in combination with a mild shampoo, such as PHYSIOGEL® Scalp Care Extra Mild Shampoo
• Tip: If you have an itchy scalp, use our Scalp Care Tonic in the evening. It reduces itching and helps to reduce dandruff
