Day after day, facial skin is exposed to various stressful factors. Make-up, dirt and environmental particles can accumulate and put a strain on sensitive facial skin. Skin that is particularly prone to dryness needs a gentle cleanser that moisturises as it cleanses.

PHYSIOGEL® Daily Moisture Therapy Micellar Cleansing Foam has been specially developed for daily use. Its innovative micelle technology cleanses particularly thoroughly and gently: dirt, excess sebum and make-up are effortlessly removed without irritating the skin. At the same time, the moisturising formula protects the skin from drying out during cleansing and is even suitable for the sensitive eye area.

The foam is free from potentially irritating ingredients such as fragrances, colourants and classic preservatives*. This gives your facial skin the gentle daily cleansing it needs to feel fresh, nourished and optimally prepared.

Active ingredients

• Glycerine is one of the natural moisturising factors (NMF) in the skin. It can attract and bind water and thus controls the "viscosity" of the extracellular matrix between the skin cells. This is particularly important for a healthy skin barrier. Care products with glycerine provide the skin with additional moisture and contribute to the regeneration of the skin's own protective barrier.
  
• The term lecithin describes a group of lipids (fats) that also contain phosphorus. It occurs naturally in all animal and plant cells. In skin care products, it serves primarily as a moisturiser and emulsifier. In addition, lecithin can strengthen the natural skin barrier and protect the skin from premature ageing.
• Glycols are related to the alcohol we drink, but differ in their chemical structure. The use of pentylene glycol in cosmetics leads to an increase in skin moisture as it binds water. In addition, it makes cosmetics last longer and acts as a solvent for a nice consistency.

The BioMimetic technology

BioMimetic technology The PHYSIOGEL® Daily Moisture Therapy Micellar Cleansing Foam and many of our other skincare products have been developed with the proven BioMimetic technology. It is modelled on the natural structure of skin lipids/oils. In our epidermis, three types of lipids (ceramides, free fatty acids, cholesterol) form neatly stacked lamellae that surround the horny cells - and only in this structure can our skin barrier fulfil its important functions.

In our skincare, we use lipids that correspond to those of the skin, also form lamellae and can therefore fit perfectly into our skin's own lipid lamellae - we give the skin back what it lacks.

The result is rebalanced skin and a strong skin barrier that protects us from the environment and traps moisture in the skin, allowing our skin to be radiant, elastic and healthy.
