PHYSIOGEL® Calming Relief A.I. Hand Cream was specially developed for dry, irritated and itchy hands. Symptoms such as severe itching and dry hands are particularly common with neurodermatitis and allergies. However, environmental influences such as heating air and low temperatures can also dry out the skin, as can mistakes in the care routine.
It is particularly important to apply moisturiser when washing or disinfecting your hands frequently. The cream cares for dry, irritated hands with panthenol and natural fats and contains itch-relieving & anti-inflammatory PEA.
Modern BioMimetic technology: Our Physiogel® A.I. hand cream imitates the structure of the skin. Ingredients that mimic healthy, resistant skin (skin-like lipids) are used to moisturise the skin and sustainably repair and regenerate the skin barrier. This is because the skin barrier is disrupted in neurodermatitis, for example, as it sometimes lacks horny lipids and natural moisturising factors. The skin-related lipids in our hand cream compensate for this deficit, making the skin more resistant. How to use
- Apply 2 x daily to the hands, preferably directly after showering and before going to bed. This helps the hand cream to retain moisture better after washing and to relieve itching at night.
- Hands should also be washed thoroughly before applying the cream. It is also important to use a hand wash lotion that does not contain any potential allergens, such as our Daily Moisture Therapy hand wash lotion. You should also be careful when drying your hands so as not to cause micro-injuries. So use a soft towel and dab your hands gently. Don't forget the spaces between your fingers.
