- Q10 Green consists of soft phytocapsules containing Q10 in the form of 100 mg active ubiquinone dissolved in vegetable oil. The capsules are light-sealed with a mixture of cocoa powder, beetroot powder and green tea powder. The content of Q10 Green is completely identical to that of the original Q10 Bio-Qinon Gold.

- Coenzyme Q10 is also called ubiquinone ("Ubi" is Latin and means "everywhere"). The name indicates that Q10 is found in almost all body cells.
- When a cell needs energy, it converts fat, carbohydrates and alcohol into the energy-containing molecule ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which stores energy in its chemical form. The cell splits the ATP molecule and releases the energy stored in it. This process takes place in the cells of several small bean-shaped structures called mitochondria. Coenzyme Q10 is present in all mitochondria. Muscle cells in particular require large amounts of energy, and therefore muscles contain a significantly higher number of mitochondria than other cell types. The heart muscle is a good example of body tissue in which the cells contain many mitochondria, as the energy requirement is high.
