• for the dietary treatment of infants and children with digestive and absorption disorders (malassimilation syndrome) and cystic fibrosis
• suitable from 1 year of age

How to use

• The dosage of Peptamen® Junior (powder) depends on the patient's individual energy and nutritional requirements and the type and severity of the illness.
• Preparation: When preparing Peptamen® JUNIOR, care must be taken to ensure a hygienic procedure: Only use boiled drinking water that has cooled to room temperature and clean containers. Prepared food is intended for immediate consumption. Tastes best when chilled.
• Important note: Use under medical supervision. Suitable for exclusive or complementary feeding from 1 year of age. Suitable as the sole source of nutrition. When used as a tube feed: Do not add medicines or other foods. Not for parenteral nutrition
• Storage: Store unopened in a cool, dry place. Once opened, consume the contents of the can within 4 weeks. When used as a drinkable food: Consume prepared drinkable food immediately or use within 6 hours covered at room temperature, can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours. For use as tube feeding: Pour prepared product into a sterile enteral transfer system with an empty bag and administer within 4 hours.

Ingredients: Maltodextrin, whey protein hydrolysate (from milk), sucrose, medium-chain triglycerides, potato starch, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), emulsifier (soya lecithin), minerals (calcium carbonate, potassium phosphate, sodium phosphate, sodium chloride, magnesium chloride, Calcium chloride, ferrous sulphate, zinc sulphate, manganese sulphate, copper sulphate, potassium iodide, sodium selenate, chromium chloride, sodium molybdate), flavouring, acidity regulator (citric acid), choline bitartrate, vitamins (C, E, niacin, pantothenic acid, B6, A, B1, B2, folic acid, K, biotin, D, B12), taurine, L-carnitine. Gluten and carrageenan free. Packaged in a protective atmosphere.
